How can a Super Reality Dome be used?
Wine Tasting - it will feel as if you're sitting in the cellar with the winemaker as they take you through a wine tasting. The winemaker can also take you into the vineyards where the grapes for each wine were grown.
Immersive Wine Experience - I recently enjoyed an amazing Cape Winelands outing. First on the trip was catching the sunrise over the vineyards at Jordan Winery in Stellenbosch. After this I watched the harvest at Constantia Glen and then took in the views over the vineyards at Oak Valley Estate in Elgin. I observed David Nieuwoudt and his winemaking team at Cederberg Wines preparing their red wines before heading off to Mont Rochelle which has magnificent views of the Franschhoek Valley. I ended up at the restaurant at Constantia Glen.
I did all of this in under three minutes - inside an immersive 360 Super Reality Dome. It’s the best way to showcase wineries, wine routes and promote wine tourism at shows and events. The Super Reality Dome experience can include wine tastings, food & wine pairings and immersive dinners.

International drinks company, DIAGEO wanted to celebrate their 200 year old whisky, Lagavulin in a unique way and chose a shared virtual reality experience. The idyllic island of Ilsay, off the west coast of Scotland where Lagavulin is made is not on a regular tourism route and the aim was to recreate the experience of this remote part of the world. A combination of sounds, aromas and 360º video was used to transport guests around the Island, the distillery and Lagavulin bay, while they sampled a range of drams from the Lagavulin family. The fully immersive installation went on a world tour, starting in London, followed by events in New York, Miami, and Tokyo.
